Good Morning friends- Pastor Mike McClure shared with us last night at our evening service out of Psalm 40. He addressed Waiting on the Lord,Witnessing for the Lord, and Warfare that accompanies them both. He shared the progression of spending time with the Lord leads to spontaneous sharing of your faith,as out of the abundance of our hearts our mouths speak. Paul said a great and effectual door has opened for us, but there is much adversity. Warfare is often just a sign we are on the winning team, and God is being effective in our midst,or God in His love just wants to make us more than we are presently. Mike put the challenge out to us if we knew we had one year left to live for the Lord  what might we change to be more useful for the kingdom? A sobering thought worth reflecting on. I remember reading an interview with Edith Schaeffer the wife of Francis Schaeffer in which she was asked if she knew the Lord was returning the next day what would she do.Her response was I would work in my garden. Her answer displayed a women secure in her relationship with the Lord finding and reflecting Christ in whatever was set before her. May God give us the grace to do the same, and may He be our overwhelming desire today,as we wait for Him to return for us. Thank you Pastor Mike for the Word .
